Only 6% of posted jobs for fresh graduate candidates which have this salary range. This means the competitive rate is quite high.

Otherwise, a group of experienced candidates understands the salary benchmark in the market. They frequently view jobs which have the salary from 701 – 1000 USD, however, they are willing to apply for position which has salary range lower than their expectation. For Management level, most of companies offer its salary range from 701 – 1000 USD. More than 41% of posted jobs for management levels are willing to pay for this salary range. This minimum average salary is 38% higher compared to the average salary in Vietnam. (Regarding to General Statistics Office of Vietnam, the average salary of Vietnamese employees in 2017 is 6.500.000 VND/employee/month.)

Hanoi, the second biggest city of Vietnam, ranks the 5th position in the list of maximum average salary, regarding its minimum average salary is 407 USD (9,300,000 VND/month). Based on the statistics, experienced candidate group in Hanoi has shown its reasonable expectation for the salary. Regarding to posted jobs which have salary from 501 – 700 USD are viewed mostly, however, most of experienced candidates apply for positions which have salary range from 251 – 500 USD.

Da Nang, the economic center-point area of The Middle ranks the 2nd position and has its minimum average salary is 452 USD/month (10,250,000 VND). Management level candidates in Da Nang expect lower salary range compared to other cities. Regarding most of Management level candidates in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Binh Duong, and Quang Ninh, apply for jobs from 1001 – 2000 USD, Management levels in Da Nang tend to apply for positions which have salary range from 701 – 1000 USD, equal to the expected salary of experienced candidates in this city.

Two centers of production industry are Binh Duong and Bac Ninh respectively rank the 3rd and 4th position for the highest average salary in Vietnam. The minimum average salary of Binh Duong is 444 USD (10,100,000 VND) and Bac Ninh is 421 USD (9,550,000VND)
