NORTHERN NAVIGOS SEARCH SPREADS LOVE TO KIDS ON THE HIGHLANDS

On last February 18^th, Northern Navigos Search had a companion activity with the Youth Development Support Fund and Education Summit to support students at Phang So Lin Ethnic Minority High School in Phang So Lin commune Lin, Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province with funding and computer to support their studies and lives.

Phang So Lin is a mountainous commune in Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province. The total population is 2,989 people, there are 7 villages, including 5 main ethnic groups, mainly Dao (86%), H'Mong (13%) and other ethnic groups. The rate of poor families in the commune is 43.67%.

Phang So Lin Ethnic Minority Boarding High School, Phang So Lin Commune, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province is a school in a mountainous commune located about 3km from the center of Sin Ho town. In the school year 2022 - 2023, the school has 264 students, of which 154 are currently studying day-boarding. The school's students from ethnic minorities are 100%. With these conditions, those children's learning, their journey to find the wisdom, and the search for knowledge in Phang Solin High School are still very difficult.

With the desire to contribute to alleviating the difficulties of the people in the highlands, especially bringing more opportunities to the future preschools of the country, Northen Navigos Search North has awarded 5 sets of good quality computers and 10 million VND cash from the contribution of members. The donation is used to support Phang So Lin Ethnic Minority Boarding High School and Phang So Lin Ethnic Minority Secondary School.

During this journey, members of Navigos Group and volunteers were welcomed by teachers and students at Phang Solin School. The school is located in the middle of the mountains, in the the woods, with children with bright eyes, rosy cheeks in the winter sun.
